In the hearth of the Southern Andes, we find two different sierras, that share path with the history of first inhabitants, but differ in landscape and due to that, in birdlife. Excellent landscapes for birding, and breathtaking views during all your days here.

Birds and mammals are possible to see in this tour. We visit Torres del Paine NP, a natural “hotspot” for wildlife in Patagonia, Guanacos, Puma, and Huemul (Andes Deer) are possible to see here. Feral Horses running “free” in the wild are possible to see in Sierra Baguales.

Departure from Punta Arenas or Puerto Natales, we spend two nights in Puerto Natales hostel, or a Hotel within the NP with the majestic view of the mountains for sunrise! We will explore and spend two full day birding tours 1.- to Torres del Paine NP and 2.- to Sierra Baguales.

All of this complemented with stunning views of the Last Hope Fjord, with lots of coastal birding. This is the Black-necked Swans paradise.

Torres del Paine has become the hearth of tourism in Patagonia, the 8th Wonder of the World, and Reserve of Biosphere by the UNESCO. A natural hotspot for wildlife, from glacier to steppes, filled with forest and lagoons to scan. Many landscapes to visit and birding along with incredible views.

Sierra Baguales, a different chain of mountains, in the border with Argentina, a road take us to higher altitudes here, so we start to see a different birdlife. Also with magnificent scenic background for this birding experience.

Two fantastic birding days along the most iconic places of Patagonia.
